Engineering procurement and construction company Rays Power Experts has commissioned the first phase of solar roof top installations for buildings owned by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).
The company on Tuesday completed installation of 60 KW of the cumulative 4000 KW project. Rays Experts is aiming at installing solar power panels across 50,000 square meters of rooftops in Delhi falling under NDMC. The development of the entire 4 MW project would cost around Rs 36 crore.
Rays Power will be undertaking financing, designing, installation and commissioning of the entire project.

The company has an installed capacity of 137 MW of solar power, of which about 92MW has already been commissioned. Another 45 MW is under execution, which includes the largest solar project on Dam Barrier in Navi Mumbai.
